Ready to try your hand at the incredibly addictive art of glass fusing? This is a fun half-day class recommended for beginners who want to see what all the excitement is about. Class begins with a brief introduction to the basic concepts and materials used in creating fused glass art and moves quickly through exercises to have you confidently cutting sheet glass. With your newfound skills, you’ll design, cut, and assemble one or more hanging art pieces suitable for indoor or outdoor display, which will be fired and ready for pick up the following week.
All tools and supplies are provided. Class size is limited to four students for plenty of individual instruction. No experience with glass is required. You’ll be working in Valerie’s studio in Santa Rosa. For comfort and safety, please dress in layers and wear closed toe shoes. Questions? VALERIE ADAMS has attended professional residencies at the prestigious Pilchuck Glass School and was invited to take the Dealer’s Forum class at Bullseye Glass.
