Dissolving the boundaries between surface and form this hands-on workshop will introduce various methods for layering color, image and text onto ceramic surfaces. Simple screen printing and various transfer techniques are included. Participants will have the opportunity to make their own screens and use them to create sample tiles. A slide presentation will illustrate Selvin’s personal history and the influences that have shaped her approach to clay.
